Work Arrangement & Compensation: The work arrangement is structured in two phases. From December to February inclusive the role will be 50% of a full-time role with a hybrid structure with a monthly salary range between THB 25000 to THB 30000. The role then transitions to full-time onsite from March to September inclusive with a monthly salary range between THB 50000 to THB 60000.

OUR VISION FOR THE ROLE:
The Events Coordinator will lead the planning and delivery of the AEE-APAC 2026 Conference in Bangkok ( an international gathering of experiential educators practitioners and thought leaders. This role is responsible for ensuring that the conference runs smoothly across all aspects including logistics communications and stakeholder coordination. It will provide a high-quality experience for participants partners and speakers.
This position will ensure that JUMP!s role as co-host is carried out effectively with attention to detail clear planning and reliable execution. By managing timelines coordinating with multiple committees and teams and keeping operations on track the Events Coordinator will make it possible for the conference to achieve its objectives and leave a lasting impact on the experiential education community.
The Events Coordinator will report to JUMP!s Learning and Development Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan coordinate and execute all aspects of the AEE-APAC 2026 Conference in Bangkok.
- Working with internal team to manage logistics for multiple event components including outdoor certification courses masterclasses paper presentations keynotes workshops and storytelling sessions.
- Liaise with AEE leadership JUMP! Executive Director host school and advisory and working committees to align on decisions and timelines.
- Track budgets oversee contracts and coordinate with vendors and venues.
- Utilize IT systems to manage registration systems communications and participant experience touchpoints.
- Supervise and support interns volunteers and student volunteers.
- Collaborate with internal team to source strategic partners and sponsors.
- Coordinate with partners and sponsors to deliver on agreed commitments.
- Work with marketing and communications teams on event promotion and information sharing.
- Troubleshoot issues during the event to minimize disruption.
- Document processes and recommendations for future events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- This role requires a Thai national with full fluency in written and spoken Thai to meet work permit regulations and manage local vendor communication.
- Proven Event Management: Minimum of3-5 years of professional experience in successfully managing and executing complex large-scale events conferences or programs (regional experience preferred).
- Logistics & Project Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of event logistics including scheduling vendor relations IT infrastructure and back-end operations ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining high-quality relationships with sponsors partners and external host organizations (B2B B2G or NGO context).
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills characterized by clarity intention and empathy. Must be a collaborative team player capable of aligning diverse stakeholders and managing cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Under Pressure: A results-focused problem solver with a track record of remaining professional reliable and decisive when facing unexpected challenges or working under tight deadlines.
- Data & Efficiency Focus: Strong commitment to continuous improvement including the ability to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and enhanced participant experience.
