Then you might be the perfect fit for a role as Data Analyst/Forensic Specialist (DA/FS) within the Global Anti-Fraud & Digital Forensics team Group Internal Audit (GIA).

The Position - Fraud Risk Officer/Forensic Specialist

The global Anti-Fraud and Digital Forensics (AFDF) team is looking for a dedicated and highly talented DA/FS in Anti-Fraud and Digital Forensics to join our global Anti-Fraud & Digital Forensics community in APMM. The DA/FS will conduct and support fraud and other investigations by the use and structuring of digital evidence and work in close collaboration with stakeholders across the APMM Group.

The cases in scope can vary a lot by nature; the DA/FS will report directly to the AFDF team anchored in Group Internal Audit in Copenhagen Denmark. The DA/FS will be a trusted advisor and the go-to subject matter expert on all Digital Forensics related matters and participate in regular Digital Forensics processing and support work.

Being an DA/FS is an exciting and challenging position that will provide you with an inside perspective of how APMM works with business ethics and compliance with a dedicated focus on data-driven investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine data analytics requirements from antifraud & digital forensics teams that will be used to train and evolve deep learning models and algorithms.
  • Perform large scale experimentation and data driven models to answer and illuminate investigative questions.
  • Use advanced analytics methods to extract insights from evidence and artefact data.
  • Evangelize best practices within digital forensics stakeholder teams.
  • Process digital evidence by structuring unstructured data in large volumes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is a key requirement for this role. Proficiency in Brazilian/Portuguese is a surplus
  • Experience in digital forensic investigations and processing principles.
  • Bachelors degree in related field required.
  • Considerable hands-on experience in solving investigative problems with advanced analytics solutions (e.g. PowerBI QlickView SIEM solutions).
  • Experience in building and deploying descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
  • Possession of good understanding in SQL UX and UI principles is recommended.
  • Ability to work with others on projects.
  • Ability to translate complex data relations and results into tangible business language and vice versa.
  • Excellent communication skills and being able to deliver/present complicated matters in a clear and persuasive way to stakeholders ensuring buy-in and maintain solid and trustworthy relationships towards a variety of stakeholders on all levels
  • Demonstrate assertiveness and resiliencealso in situations out of the normal comfort zone
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to take ownership of designated areas
  • Strong analytical skills and being able to evaluate large volumes of data
  • Strong organizational and time management skills driving tasks to completion
  • Sensitive to the needs concerns and feelings of others
  • Curious by nature and an easy-going personality

Education requirements (at a minimum)

  • Bachelors degree within a relevant field e.g. analytics coding scripting etc.
  • Certifications such as CFE is considered a plus

Experience requirements (at a minimum)

  • At least 3-5 years working experience within a larger corporate entity consultancy or governmental agency
  • Experience from working within shipping logistics transport and service is an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Sound IT skills and experienced user of Microsoft and Power BI are an advantage
  • User of/knowledge of forensic software and EDRM (Nuix Relativity Cellebrite/MSAB or similar) and Data Analytics tools (Power BI QlikView etc.) is an advantage but not a requirement.

The role can be based in Panama or Mexico.
