ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

Responsibilities:

Professionally design and develop innovative design solutions and products in a fast-paced team environment.

Provide solid modeling and prototype support on technology development and new product development projects.

Using sound engineering principles refine concepts into reliable designs that meet performance compliance product integrity and aesthetic requirements.

Design for manufacturability for China production environments.

Generate part specifications including detailed drawings and specifications.

Communicate design to team members and China factories.

Perform product prototyping and testing write test requests and obtain quotes from internal and external sources.

Support continuous improvement of existing products.

Experience required:

Around 5-8 years experience in product development in high volume consumer products Mobile Robotic products preferred.

3D CAD proficiency design experience in multiple processes such as: plastic injection molding die-casting sheet metal machining processes and assembly processes.

Experience working effectively in a cross-functional team environment is essential.

Good knowledge of Design processes including DFME FEA DFM etc.

Education background required:

BS in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Robotics or Mechatronics

Functional Skills/Knowledge:

Good command of English speaking and writing.

Ability to work with flexible adaptable teams and processes that embrace and cope with change and uncertainty.

Ability to support at least multiple projects simultaneously.

Detail-oriented versatile organized articulate and professional.

Other Requirements

Traveling to supplier factory / staying in factory is required

Occasional international travel to visit suppliers or other SharkNinja offices may be required.

Ability to work under pressure and work overtime if required at peak project times.
