Job Summary
AW MAIN
As a Coating Technician inCharlotte NC you will be required to operate common equipment such as a pressure washer abrasive blast equipment and epoxy application under the supervision of a senior technician or forman. The technician will be responsible for helping mentor and teach all new laborers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Can lead STAC meetings when asked
- Mentors new hires & laborers
- Ability to accurately observe & report conditions & issues to their supervisor
- Can be relied upon to check their work competently
- Positive attitude brings energy to the team
- Independently set up and run all job site equipment properly.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Able to tend & operate abrasive blast equipment water blast equipment injection grout equipment
- Able to use appropriate techniques to apply coatings
- Able to operate holiday and adhesion testing equipment and perform touch-up
- Able to perform confined space entrant duties
- Ability to operate & maintain coatings application equipment
- Can recognize defective or damaged equipment and report it to their supervisor
- Able to properly read and measure out ratios based on the TDS of the product(s)
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial coating work.
