Job Summary
Objective
Position required to provide CAD and tooling design services to plant and PDC (product development & quality improvement)
Basic function for virtual analysis of products in quotation stage & virtual development of awarded products and execution of tooling design deliverables per NPDS / EXCEL
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring all the technical data related to the products and tooling is properly managed and up to date.
- Utilization of CAD Software in a Teamcenter Integrated Environment to create modify and upload models assemblies drawings and engineering change reports in support of assigned workflow tasks and complying with department procedures to achieve objectives for timing quality and cost.
- Execution of NPDS tooling development deliverables from tooling definition (M-1.35) up to provision of tooling manuals (M6.240) or equivalent EXCEL deliverables.
Position Requirements
- Automotive HPDC tooling design and development experience (>2 years)
- CAD software proficiency - Catia V5 R2014 (required); NX 10.0 (desired); Creo 2.0 (desired)
- Knowledge of TS 16949 Standard
