- The schedule for this position is 9 hour overnight shift (ie. 10pm-7am)

Develop your talentsby applying your expertise within our facility in Ottawa as the Maintenance Technician:
- Will perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance (PM Program) for all stationary equipment mobile plant equipment and building components at both Plant 1 and Plant 2 as required. Will maintain all of the necessary records to support PM Program at Plant 1 and Plant 2.
- Will perform service and repair to all plant equipment as required. This may include stationary equipment mobile plant equipment and building components at Plant 1 and 2 as required.
- To be involved in the modification and fabrication of equipment to fit new production requirements and also assist in solving production issues.
- Assist 3rd party contractors with troubleshooting repairs or overhauls with existing or new equipment installations as required.
- Complete all documentation related to the activities of the Department including but not limited to preventative maintenance reports service reports inventory reports or request forms and daily activity reports.

- Must be aware of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
- Have some experience in a manufacturing or related industry. Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment would be a definite asset.
- Related technical school training.
- Welding experience.
- Experience in carpentry work.
- Training is during days shifts will be evening and nights
