Testing Technician

Leggett & Platt Inc. is searching for a Testing Technician to join our Electronics Engineer team to help support our Bedding business at the IDEA Center in Carthage MO. Our Bedding business brings an intense focus on the customer innovation world-class manufacturing capabilities and a global footprint together to create full package solutions for the industry. We need the best people on our team to support our strategy and your work will ensure people around the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

As a Testing Technician you have agreat opportunity to be part of a collaborative hands-on team within a global organization. If you enjoy a mix of lab work technical testing and office-based tasksand youre a teachable detail-oriented team playerthis role could be a great fit.

So what will you be doing as a Testing Technician

• Performing and documenting lab testing on prototypes components and systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development.
• Collecting and analyzing data from both automated and manual test systems.
• Assisting engineering staff in developing and refining test procedures.
• Ensuring traceability and accuracy of test data through defined processes.

To be successful in this role youll need:

• Effective communication skills across engineering project management and technician teams.

• Familiarity with general lab and testing procedures.
• Ability to develop basic mathematical models from test data.

Things we consider a plus:

• Bachelors degree
• Technical testing experience in manufacturing facility
