Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities ensuring that safety quality and efficiency standards are consistently met. This role leads and supports production employees coordinates resources monitors performance metrics and ensures accurate documentation and smooth handoffs between shifts. The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence while fostering a safe compliant and team-oriented environment. BROKEN ARROW LOCATION
Schedule:Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm/ Monday-Thursday 4:00a-2:30pm/ Occasional Saturday
Pay:$21.00per hour DOE
Duties
- Review production schedule staffing maintenance logs and safety reports prior to shift.
- Conduct pre-shift team meetings to review priorities safety reminders and quality alerts.
- Monitor shift production metrics (output downtime waste) and adjust resources as needed.
- Verify quality checks are consistently performed and documentation is completed.
- Partner with Maintenance to address equipment issues promptly and minimize downtime.
- Approve machine adjustments within safety and quality parameters.
- Assess progress against production targets and resolve bottlenecks.
- Lead end-of-shift cleanup workstation organization and documentation collection.
- Conduct shift handoff meetings with the incoming supervisor communicating key issues incidents and instructions.
- Prepare and submit daily shift performance and downtime reports.
- Record employee training coaching and development updates.
- Follow up on corrective actions from safety incidents audits or prior shifts.
Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing production or related industry required
- Strong knowledge of safety standards quality systems and production processes
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask prioritize and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in production reporting and documentation practices
