Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to
Supply Chain Manager NOR & CEURoleThe
Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on inventory management receiving and dispatch activities. This role ensures optimal storage accurate stock handling and smooth coordination with the procurement function.
Key responsibilities- Perform the job within the bounds Archers Mission Vision and Values and in line with the Companys management systems and established policies processes and procedures.
- Supervise all warehouse activities including receiving storing and distributing materials tools and products
- Responsibility for continuous improvement of warehouse processes relevant procedures and guidelines
- Responsibility for ensuring that the warehouse is kept efficient and tidy
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely execution of quarterly and yearly stock counts
- Work closely with the Procurement Supervisor and Coordinating team to track purchase orders and expected deliveries.
- Assist in vendor follow-ups and expedite orders in the absence of the Procurement Supervisor.
- Any other duties as specified by the Line Manager.
QualificationsEducation:- Relevant Craft Certificate Technical education or higher education.
Experience:- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Warehouse and warehouse keeping.
- Experience with warehouse management and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping receiving and inventory control.
- Preferably previous supervisory or team lead experience.
Personal skills:- Excellent ERP system knowledge and use.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet expectations.
- Solid understanding og safety and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
