We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pyrotechnician to design set up and execute breathtaking pyrotechnic displays and special effects for a variety of role requires a deep understanding of safety a creative approach to design and the ability to manage all aspects of a show from planning to cleanup.An experienced pyrotechnician shouldbe able to handle responsibilities like designing setting up and executing displays managing materials and equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory qualifications include prior pyrotechnics experience relevant certifications or licenses a strong understanding of safety protocols and chemistry and excellent teamwork and problem-solving bonus would be if applicant had a commercial drivers license with a hazardous materials endorsement.Key Responsibilities:Design choreograph and implement stunning pyrotechnic effects for live events ensuring creative and safe displays.Ensure strict adherence to all local state and federal regulations and company safety standards during setup operation and post-show activities.- Equipment & Material Management:
Safely handle store and transport pyrotechnic materials and equipment including pre-show testing and troubleshooting.Lead and mentor a team of pyrotechnicians during event setup and execution providing clear direction and support.Manage the control systems troubleshoot technical issues and maintain a thorough knowledge of various pyrotechnic devices and their properties.Maintain detailed records of materials used show operations and safety inspections.Qualifications & Skills:Proven track record and significant previous experience in pyrotechnics or related special effects.Valid pyrotechnician license or certification from a recognized training program.Strong understanding of industry safety protocols risk assessment and handling of explosive materials.Experience with pyrotechnic firing systems networks and related control equipment.Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials safely.Excellent communication teamwork organizational and problem-solving skills.A valid drivers license with a hazardous materials endorsement is often required.Must meet state-specific age requirements typically 21 years or older to obtain a license.Hamburg Fireworks Display offers: 401 K with employer match holiday and vacation package and insurance options availableWe Make it Easy
