Job Summary
Experience with Grafana K6 is required in combination with other performance testing tools Candidates need to have strong comm skills and the ability to lead and drive a team both onshore and offshore.
Client is seeking a talented Performance Test Engineer to ensure our e-commerce and retail systems deliver fast reliable and scalable experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools scripting and CI/CD integration with a strong focus on optimizing web and retail applications.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and execute performance and load testing scenarios for retail applications using k6 Playwright and Neoload.
Automate performance tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality.
Analyze test results identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize e-commerce and backend systems.
Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks to support new features and releases.
Must-Have Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with k6 Playwright and JavaScript.
Experience with Neoload for load and performance testing.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Knowledge of e-commerce or retail system performance considerations (site speed scalability peak load handling).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP) for performance testing.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana Prometheus or New Relic.
Knowledge of additional performance testing tools or frameworks.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in performance testing preferably in retail or e-commerce systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying performance issues.
