The Opportunity
In line with our continued growth were seeking a hands-on solutions-focused Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations within our high-energy CPI Manufacturing and Fabrication team based in Wingfield
In this senior role youll oversee a skilled team of panel builders leading hands and support staffensuring production runs smoothly safely and on time all while maintaining a high standard of quality. Youll play a key role in keeping complex infrastructure projects on track managing shifting priorities and driving team performance.
Skills And ExperiencesYour Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate workshop operations to deliver high-quality electrical panels
- Manage production schedules and align output with project timelines and requirements
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure materials are available when needed
- Collaborate with internal teams on tender reviews planning and project delivery
- Monitor job progress track costs and provide regular performance reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in processes safety and operational effectiveness
- Support recruitment training and development of production team members
About You
- Degree or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience in production project or site managementideally in electrical manufacturing HV infrastructure or construction
- Strong knowledge of panel builds switchboards or industrial electrical systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage workshop teams
- Confident managing multiple projects with tight timelines and evolving scopes
- Commercially aware with an ability to balance delivery performance and cost control
- Practical calm under pressure and highly effective at solving problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across departments and stakeholders
