DescriptionFoley is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Security Systems Specialist to support our cybersecurity operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the field of information security with hands-on exposure to security monitoring identity and access management (IAM) compliance audits and vulnerability remediation. Youll work cross-functionally to strengthen our security posture and ensure audit readiness.
What youll do
- Monitor and respond to security alerts supporting integrations between security platforms and workflows.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) including SSO configurations user access reviews and policy refinement.
- Assist with audit and compliance efforts including evidence gathering for SOC2 and PCI and identifying misconfigurations.
- Contribute to vendor and user management maintaining compliance documentation and collaborating across teams.
- Participate in security training and awareness programs recommending improvements and reviewing training content.
- Support vulnerability remediation and data protection including DLP policy development and risk mitigation strategies.
Who you are
- Degree or certification in cybersecurity or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) and endpoint management tools.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a growth mindset and adaptability.
Location:Were looking for someone located in Connecticut or Massachusetts who can occasionally visit our teams in Boston and Hartford.
