Job Description
Title: Facilities Engineer PE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $95/hr. - $99/hr.
Location: Baltimore MD area -Position Available to Local Candidates or Travelers
Position Type:Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Facilities Engineer plans designs and oversees the reconfiguration maintenance and alteration of equipment machinery buildings structures and other facilities.
- Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications company or government restrictions required completion date and construction feasibility.
- Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
- Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment installation labor materials preparation and other related costs.
- Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings specifications and schedules.
- Provide engineering support through all phases of planning and construction for new building or system expansions including startup and commissioning of equipment.
- 5 plus year of Semiconductor industry experience.
- Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Must hold current P.E. license
- Experience with building automation control systems supporting manufacturing operations
- Experience with building power and electrical distribution systems
- Experience with building mechanical systems operations (HVAC chillers cooling towers AHU RTU compressed air)
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Electrical or Mechanical degree.
- Knowledge of building automation control systems (Siemens or Honeywell)
- Experience with building maintenance management and tracking systems (work orders CAFM PM scheduling)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience with external vendors and contractors supporting facility infrastructure operations
