Job Summary
A leading trust and financial services firm in Salem NH seeks a Director of Compliance to oversee regulatory risk strengthen fiduciary practices and build a strong compliance culture. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across trust administration fiduciary oversight and financial regulations.
Location & Schedule
Salem NH headquarters
NH residents: hybrid (3 days onsite 2 remote) after 90 days
MA residents: onsite 5 days per week (with $150 monthly travel stipend)
35-hour full-time workweek
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $175K$225K based on experience
401(k) contribution (3%) plus up to 5% discretionary profit sharing

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with BSA AML fiduciary and financial regulations
Develop and maintain compliance policies programs and training
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Partner with leadership on business initiatives with regulatory impact
Lead mentor and develop compliance staff
Represent the firm in audits exams and client discussions
Qualifications
CTFA or JD required
10 years of experience in trust administration and financial regulatory compliance
Expertise in BSA AML fiduciary and related financial laws
Proven record of managing and developing compliance teams
Strong background in legal or regulatory advisory roles
Ability to travel occasionally to Boston (13 times per quarter)
