Job Description
What is the job about
Integrate different embedded SW applications in the Grundfos pumps and drives to ensure that we are secure and continue having the world best products by in close colaboration with the other developers using the common integrated release. We work in an agile environment where flexibility is a natual thing as well as the ability to plan your own
Your main responsibilities:
Developing build system.
Integration Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans bringing together software components from various teams.
Integrate different embedded SW applications (app layer) and low-level drivers (Basic layer) with cyber security measures and ensure that it is working as expected.
Issue Tracking: Use issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira) to log and manage integration-related issues. Collaborate on resolving them promptly.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to other teams about the integration process. Share observations lessons learned and improvement suggestions.
Define solutions from a system perspective and support System integration
Ensure alignment with the SW architecture and platform.
Cross-Project Communication: Engage with developers from other projects or teams. Share insights discuss integration challenges and align on common goals.
Interface /Collaborate with platform & product teams architects developers and other stakeholders to define the appropriate solutions
Understand the dependencies across different components and features and provide solutions to ensure a bug free release.
Your Background:
- Experience of 10-12 years of relevant work experience after formal degree of B.E/ B. Tech M.E/ (Electronics Background)
- Expert level understanding and knowledge with extensive hands-on work experience.
- Embedded concepts at SW as well HW levels.
- Architecture high/low level design and coding inEmbedded C. (mush have)
- Knowledge of cyber security to develop secure code.
- Structured modularized development and testing at all levels for different embedded software components like -
- RTOSknowledge(Threadx Yocto Linux) memory etc.
- Knowledge on ccommunication drivers and protocols e.g. RS232 RS485 I2C SPI etc.
- MCU architectures.Preferably -Renesas (Rx V850 RL78).
- Good understanding on CI/CD process and deployment. Working experience on Jenkins Artifactory Bitbucket will be added advantage
- Python scripting experience
- Experience on release documentation
Nice to have:
- SW testing tools at unit level. Preferably CPPUnit/Google test/Pygeta.
