Sapiens is on the lookout for a Senior Cloud Engineer to become a key player in our Bangalore team. If youre a seasoned Cloud Engineer and ready to take your career to new heights with an established globally successful company this role could be the perfect fit.

What youll do:
- The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing optimizing and evolving enterprise infrastructure. Core expertise is required in VMware and Linux (RHEL) with strong skills in Azure and Microsoft enterprise technologies. This includes infrastructure design projects migrations automation FinOps-driven cost reduction backup strategy monitoring solutions and product evaluations.
- The role requires strong expertise in VMware and RHEL with additional depth in Azure and Microsoft enterprise platforms. You will lead projects optimize costs and drive automation at scale.
What to Have for this position:
Must have Skills:-
Exp. required:- 6-8 Yrs
- Virtualization: VMware (on-prem/AVS) enterprise-scale deployments large VM migrations
- Linux and Automation: RHEL Red Hat Satellite Ansible Rudder
- Cloud: Azure design optimization and migrations; AWS and OCI are a plus
- Microsoft Technologies: On-prem Active Directory SCCM SCOM Windows Server
- FinOps / Cost Reduction: Demonstrated success in optimizing infrastructure spend
- Backup and Recovery: Metallic Veeam
- Storage Management: SAN and enterprise storage administration
- Monitoring and Management: Grafana SCOM SCCM
- Automation and Scripting: Bash PowerShell PowerCLI
- Kubernetes: Preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Project Design and Planning: MS Project and similar tools
- Product Evaluation: Running POCs for new technologies
Good to have Skills:-
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) latest preferred
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) / Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) latest preferred
- Microsoft Azure certification latest preferred
