Position Overview:
Join a dynamic Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse as aCritical Care Registered Nurse. Deliver high-level care in a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced skills and technology to support critically ill patients.

- Full-time position
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend and some holidays (set schedules)

Qualifications:
- Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN).
- Licensure:Active New York State RN License; Current BLS & PALS certifications (ACLS preferred).
- Experience:Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
- Technical Skills:Strong EMR experience (EPIC proficiency essential).
- Soft Skills:Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs.
- Operate and manage specialized critical care equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians specialists and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies.
- Educate patients and families.
