Musthave a current Certification in Sterile Processing Refer to list of options in job posting. One is required and you will need to provide documentation.
Minimum 7 years experience working directly in the field of Sterile Processing
Minimum 3years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager of a hospital Sterile Processing Department
Minimum 3years experience overseeing staff and budget management

Job Description

Senior Manager of Sterile Processing responsible for the oversight of the Sterile Processing departments at 2 hospital campuses (Torrance and San Pedro)
This role will be responsible for overseeing Torrance and San Pedro Sterile Processing Departments and have strong working relationships with Perioperative and Interventional leadership clinical and support staff and physicians throughout the South Bay.
This role will work collaboratively with Executive Director Perioperative Services to define manage and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing.
Develops implements and manages operational budgets for departments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Business or Healthcare related field.
Upon hire ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
3 years Supervisory experience including training and staff development.
5 years Budget with management and analysis.
7 years Work experience in the field of Sterile Processing
