This role is part of ADSs North American Planning Analytics team. Planning Analytics delivers world-class analytics and digital solutions to Ecolabs North America planning teams. Alongside global partners this team is responsible for developing and deploying effective insightful analytical solutions to promote industry leading service optimal inventory levels accurate forecasts effective network design and minimal excess and obsolescence in the North America region with an eye to scale globally.

Were looking to hire an Analyst (North America Planning) to join our Global Supply Chain Analytics team in Pune this role youll be responsible for leading initiatives in planning digital solutions and provide support in functional product deployments and maintenance. Youll work closely with the operational stakeholders data engineering and design teams to cocreate quality products and solutions and get them design-reviewed and support formal product launches. Youll also promote adoption and utilization as an effective change agent.
What youll do:
Project Management & Planning Analytics
- Work with planning teams (including supply planning demand planning and raw material management teams) to gather project requirements and create robust tools to support various operational initiatives.
- Responsible for developing reporting for key KPIs such as forecast accuracy/bias case fill rate ship/deliver in full inventory health production schedule adherence network complexity life-cycle planning execution and safety stock compliance.
- Partner with data engineering team for curating data and securing steady access to various quality data sources.
- Ensure data quality and data validation processes for planning and relevant datasets.
- Document the work deliverables to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead design reviews of visualizations and data products within Power BI and other tools.
Process Improvement
- Identify underperforming functional areas in Supply Chain and recommend improvements and resolutions to the problems.
- Works alongside the Design team to ideate product solutioning and help create prototypes and iterations by leveraging technology platforms like Power BI. Create interactive and informative dashboards while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead the functional QA process and governance for all planning analytics products deployed to the North America region.
- Conduct functional integration performance and technical testing.
Product Development Deployment and Change Management
- Plan and coordinate release activities including training change management and adoption of new processes and tools.
- Collaborate with global and regional leaders to mobilize enterprise value by standardizing and scaling solutions to multiple regions and use cases.
- Act as the primary subject-matter-expert on new and existing reporting and digital tool offerings driving operational teams to faster speed-to-insights and improved effectiveness.
- Work on various planning related efficiency improvement automation and controls projects.
- Maintain a curated catalog of digital resources to support planning teams including lifecycle management and enhancement requests.
Functional Knowledge Management
- Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Translate operational use cases to clear and complete analytical requirements
- Follow industry trends to identify opportunities to adopt new technologies
What you bring:
Basic:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain operations management information systems engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a supply chain analyst or planner or Supply chain consultant with a strong understanding of advanced planning principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Entry level exposure to technical skills in visualization using MS Power BI and familiarity with programming skills in Python SQL and M/DAX
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.
- Adept at changing management and maximizing value creation through new processes and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred:
- Exposure in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) and data management in SQL querying and SAP tables / transactions for Planning Logistics or other S&OP functions.
- Six sigma green belt certification or other project management endorsements or certifications.
- Advanced degree/certificate in supply chain operations planning or other similar focus.
