Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET
Duties & Role:
- Contribute to complex CIS Security remediation activities for NISC managed CIS
- Conduct IT infrastructure remediation activities in collaboration with NISC Service Delivery Managers and Subject Matter Experts
- Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings) for IT infrastructure elements;
- Advise NISC technical staff on best practice with regards to daily security tasks; develop and deliver CIS Security awareness presentations for system administrators;
- Plan deploy and configure a variety of hardware software and security products;
- Perform other duties as may be required
RequirementsSkill Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security networking and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and proven experience with virtualization technologies (vmware) containers orchestration (kubernetes) and infrastructure as code
- Experience with implementation and integration of CIS Security protective measures in Active Directory based environments.
- Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defence.
- Practical hands-on experience in system and network administration.
- Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve problems in innovative ways
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal with the ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences and teams
