Schedules

SundayTuesday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (rotating Saturdays)
WednesdayFriday 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (rotating Saturdays)

Pay Rate:$25 $30/hour

Position Overview

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Administer medications and treatments ensuring accurate documentation
Monitor and report changes in patients physical or mental condition to the RN or physician
Assist with assessments care planning and individualized treatment plans
Perform diagnostic tests (vital signs specimen collection etc.) and maintain accurate records
Respond to medical emergencies and follow infection control procedures
Educate patients/residents on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

Education:Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Vocational Nursing program
Licensure:Current unencumbered LPN or LVN license in the State of Missouri
Certifications:Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience:Previous experience in long-term care corrections behavioral health or similar settings preferred but not required
Skills:Strong communication critical thinking and organizational abilities; able to work independently and in a team setting
