Position Overview Salesfloor Clerk Location: Rainbow Blossom St Matthews
Schedule: Must have night and weekend availability; up to 40 hours per week
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety staying active and providing outstanding customer service. As a Salesfloor Clerk you will work across multiple departments assisting with daily tasks maintaining a clean and safe store and helping ensure our customers have a great shopping experience. You will report to the Store Manager and Department Managers and check in daily with the Person in Charge (PIC).
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Provide prompt friendly service and greet every customer warmly.
- Assist customers with questions requests and product guidance.
- Relay customer feedback to managers.
Salesfloor & Stocking
- Stock shelves endcaps and displays keeping products organized and visually appealing.
- Rotate stock label items accurately and report price discrepancies.
- Receive deliveries and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Assist with produce grocery and wellness stock as needed.
Cashier Duties
- Check out customers efficiently and accurately following store procedures.
- Bag and assist customers with purchases as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle returns and ensure proper documentation.
- Close and balance cash drawers accurately at the end of your shift.
Store Maintenance & Safety
- Keep shelves coolers counters and bins clean and orderly.
- Maintain bathrooms and department equipment in proper working order.
- Alert PIC or managers to safety concerns shoplifting equipment issues or emergencies.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support smooth store operations.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Work primarily indoors with some exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Stand walk bend squat kneel and lift regularly.
