Job Description
Route Delivery Driver
Culligan Water Conditioning is currently seeking an individualwith driving and delivery experience to work as a routedriver. This position is responsible fordelivering bottled waterwater softener salt and other water filtration products.
The route driver performs deliveries along a specific route for residential and commercial customers ranging from 25-60 stops per day within a 30 mile radius. Driver will handle delinquent accounts that are part of their route. Additionally drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of customers. Routes are in a designated area and this is not anOTR driving position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering products in an efficient and timely manner
- Load and unload route truck daily
- Educating existing customers and new customers on our products and services
- Use a map or smart device to locate stops and become familiar with delivery territories
- Handling customer issues complaints and problems in a courteous and prompt manner while exhibiting an overall customer-focused style of service
- Following all safety protocols and company regulations
- Maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months related experience
- Current validdrivers license ** Delivery vehicles are 21000 lbs C-Class Non-CDL License will be required.
- Must be insurable under our commercial insurance carrier
Professional Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols along with a strong sense of timeliness and organization
- Strong customer service skills
Special Consideration:
- Must be able to lift/transport up to 50 lbs.
- Position will be paid hourly for training and then base plus commission on product delivered
- This position is NOTan over the road truck driver position. 25-60residential/commercial stops per day very physical position.
