Job Summary

This position is unclassified per ORC 124.11(A)(7)(b)and as such serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority. All applicants must submit a completed Ohio Civil Service Application using the online Ohio Hiring Management System. Paper applications will not be considered. Applicants must clearly indicate how they meet the minimum qualifications and/or position specific minimum qualifications in all possible detail. An assessment of these criteria may be conducted to determine the applicants who are interviewed. The completed application will be the sole criterion used in determining eligibility for this position. If youre selected for this position you can expect to spend your time:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all of the State Librarys internal and external customers.

  • Performing tasks related to purchasing billing financial reporting accounts receivable and accounts payable.

  • Performing data reconciliation analysis and reporting.

  • Providing grant support.

18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. accounting &/or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.

-Or completion of high school technical program in accounting; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. accounting or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.

-Or completion of associate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
