Operational setup Engineer

Position Description:

Job Title: Operational Setup Engineer (Batch Interface and Job Scheduler)

Location: - BLR /HYD/MUM/CHN
Work Type: Full-time Shift/On-call

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Operational Setup Engineer to join our team in supporting the deployment and transition of operational frameworks for new and upgrading clients.
You will be responsible for setting up batch jobs interfaces and Job Scheduler environments while also automating key operational processes.
This role demands strong technical skills excellent coordination with clients and internal teams and a proactive approach to production readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Framework Setup:

. Configure Job Scheduler agents/containers post-environment turnover.
. Implement operational scripts readiness checklists and monitoring tools.
. Validate job chains backups DB stats and service monitors.

2. Batch Setup (Production and Non production environments):

. Collaborate with clients to define build and test batch cycles.
. Ensure job sustainability and reusable automation practices.
. Establish escalation procedures and support handover to execution.

3. Interface Setup & Scheduling:

. Collect and implement scheduling requirements for interfaces.
. Test document and hand off interface jobs for monitoring.

4. Job Scheduler Administration:

. Install patch and maintain Job Scheduler Masters across environments.
. Renew licenses troubleshoot performance issues and liaise with vendors.

5. Automation & Tool Integration:

. Develop automation for new tools like SQL Server Power Bi.
. Contribute to enhancing operational processes using scripting and containerization.
