Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Initiate projects under the guidance of the Lead Project Coordinator by defining scope tasks timelines and identify and managing stakeholders primarily Project Sponsor(s) and Senior Management for the various projects to be undertaken.
  • Work along with the Lead Project Coordinator to execute projects independently by displaying sound judgement and proactively managing risk and issues
  • Provide critical support on assigned projects managing expectations and communicating delays on projects to the Project Lead and/or Project Manager
  • Support the Lead Project Coordinator with the end-to-end execution of small to medium sized projects by ensuring that project plans are developed and implemented inclusive of the below:
  1. Assisting with the definition of business plan ensuring scope of project is clear information is gathered from appropriate stakeholders and sign-off is obtained
  2. Assisting with identifying and documenting detailed requirements for initiatives
  3. Developing and tailoring the communication plan appropriately for each stakeholder group
  4. Ensuring project schedules are completed and maintained
  5. Ensuring risks and issues are identified tracked and escalated to Lead Project Coordinator or Project Manager and Stakeholders
  6. Perform feasibility studies or cost-benefit analysis as required
  7. Conduct post project reviews documenting lessons learned
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that requirements are understood and that identified tasks support the requirements
  • Track project progress against defined milestones
  • Track and manage contemplated change orders according to the defined process
  • Coach and mentor Junior Project Coordinators
  • Follow standard PGT PMO procedures and tools to manage projects to successful completion
  • Collaborate with PGT resources in various locations and time zones to enhance and refine standard PGT PMO procedures and/or implement new tools


Qualifications

About You:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance preferred
  • Overall 4 years experience with 1 to 2 years of core experience of managing Transition/Migration of business processes from client/onshore to offshore and outsourced delivery center
  • Experience in fund administration transition is desirable
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince II) is a plus
  • Ability to travel extensively on business requirement as required
  • Should be willing to relocate or work out of different global delivery locations as required
