Reports to: Project Development Director
The Marketing Coordinator plays a dual role supporting both proposal development and regional marketing and communications efforts. With a foundation in storytelling organization creativity and visual communication this individual will help produce high-quality proposals manage marketing data and systems assist in campaigns and other marketing outlets and contribute to event coordination. This position offers broad exposure to both sides of the Project Development team and is ideal for someone interested in growing within or exploring the AEC industry.

Essential Skills:
Detail Orientation: High attention to accuracy formatting and consistency in all written digital and visual content.
Responsiveness: Balances multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment with poise and flexibility.
Collaboration: Works effectively with both technical teams and marketing/comms personnel adapting communication style to match audience.
Technical Proficiency: Foundational experience with InDesign Illustrator Photoshop Microsoft Office and AI-supported tools.
Growth Mindset: Eager to learn the proposal lifecycle marketing best practices and industry nuances while contributing meaningfully across both teams.

Hensel Phelps provides generous benefits for our salaried employees. This position is eligible for company-paid medical insurance life insurance accidental death & dismemberment long-term disability 401(K) retirement plan health savings account (HSA) (except in Hawaii) and our employee assistance program (EAP). It also is eligible for employee-paid enrollment in vision and dental insurance. Hensel Phelps also believes in the importance of taking time to recharge. As a result salaried employees are eligible for paid time off beginning upon hire. Salaried positions (project engineers and above) participate in an annual bonus plan subject to company and employee performance. Salaried employees are also eligible for a company cell phone or cell phone allowance in accordance with company policy. Further salaried employees also receive either a vehicle or vehicle allowance in accordance with Hensel Phelps on position location a cost of living adjustment (COLA) may also be included (subject to periodic review and adjustment).
