JOB SUMMARY
The Entry-Level Energy Market Analyst provides data-driven insights into natural gas markets supports commercial strategy and helps guide key business decisions. This person will monitor trends forecast prices and assess regulatory development translating complex market data into clear actionable intelligence for stakeholders across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze natural gas market fundamentals including supply/demand dynamics storage trends weather impacts and infrastructure developments.
- Summarize and compare industry fundamental Pricing/Supply & Demand reports (both public and private) into actionable reports for Management. Contribute to long-term marketing strategy through market opportunity analysis.
- Support the development of monthly presentations for senior management focusing on hedging strategies and market positions.
- Contribute to monthly board presentations with data analysis and market insights.
- Analyze the impact of new regulations and policy changes on natural gas markets.
- Perform other duties as required.
SKILLS
- Experience with Power BI Python and data analysis tools preferred.
- Working knowledge of North American natural gas markets and pricing hubs.
- Strong quantitative analysis capabilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of natural gas fundamentals supply chain and market dynamics preferred.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting preferred.
- Familiarity with energy trading concepts and risk management principles preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Recent 2024 or 2025 graduate with a Bachelors degree in Economics Finance Energy Engineering Data Science or a related field.

- This position is located at BKVs Houston Texas office (77056).
- An indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment.
