Job Summary
The Product Owner 1 is a vital member of the agile team assisting in defining a clear tactical vision for product development and executing accordingly. They focus on optimizing the end-user experience and maintaining clarity for the development team. The product owner is aligned to a scrum team and drives the feature backlog.Essential Job Functions
Help prioritize and maintain the product backlog ensuring it aligns with the product vision. This includes organizing user stories tasks and bugs and ensuring they are clearly defined and ready for development.
Partner with product manager to gather and document product requirements. This involves conducting interviews surveys and workshops to understand user needs and translating them into actionable items.
Provide support to the development team by clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria. This includes participating in daily stand-ups sprint planning and review meetings to ensure the team has a clear understanding of the tasks. May create operations process and workflow documentation to support product development and implementation.
Track and report on product performance metrics. This includes using analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generating reports to share insights with the team.
Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team. This includes breaking down high-level requirements into smaller actionable tasks that can be easily understood and implemented by the team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in information technology Business or Project Management or related field of study
1 years in product management information technology or related field such as business analysis
Preferred Qualifications
1 years experience in product management business analysis information technology financial services payment online and mobile platforms or digital and tech platforms
