Qualifications
Role Overview
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support a non-binary client with an intellectual disability. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and respectful in using correct pronouns and supporting LGBTQ individuals while assisting with daily living skills community inclusion and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support in home and community settings.
- Use and respect each persons chosen name and pronouns at all times.
- Assist with activities of daily living transportation and skill development.
- Follow all agency policies health & safety guidelines and support plans.
- Promote dignity independence and inclusion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (some college or human-services experience preferred).
- Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion; ability to respect and affirm LGBTQ identities.
- Valid drivers license & reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass background checks and required clearances.
