Our Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programme commences in February 2026 and as a Graduate you will be embarking on a 2-year journey of learning growth and practical application of your education. This programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience exposure to different aspects of our business and the opportunity to develop essential skills and competencies.
You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals contribute to projects and participate in training and development programmes to elevate your career. At Fulton Hogan we believe in empowering our people with the tools to succeed.
In addition to the above you will:
- Apply academic knowledge and theory into a practical business environment.
- Assume responsibility and accountability to successfully complete assignments or tasks.

Were looking for future-focused graduates with:
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a NZ-recognised tertiary institute and has graduated between 2023-2025.
- A NZ/Australian citizenship or NZ permanent residence status.
- Has a passion for practical hands-on contracting work.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive self-directed approach to work.
- Open mindedness and is flexible to change.
- Availability to commence full time work in Feb 2026.
- A strong emphasis on safety and consistently demonstrates ethical behaviour while treating others with respect.
