Qualifications

- Strong experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

- Solid background in Android development including use of Jetpack libraries and security APIs.

- Proven knowledge of Android security frameworks including CredentialManager or similar.

- Familiarity with digital identity standards and ecosystems (mdoc W3C VC OIDC).

- Experience writing developer documentation (Markdown Docusaurus GitHub Pages etc.).

- Comfort working across both mobile and server-side Kotlin codebases.

- Proficiency in OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 flows as they apply to digital identity.

- Familiarity with CBOR Protocol Buffers and secure data serialization methods.

- Understanding of Android Keystore credential encryption and secure on-device storage practices.

- Experience reading and translating formal standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 18013-5 IETF W3C specs) into code and documentation.

- Familiarity with QR code generation NFC/BLE or other proximity-based credential exchange technologies.

- Ability to design and write concise educational sample apps.

- Comfort working across both mobile and server-side Kotlin codebases.

Bonus (Nice to Have)

- Experience with Compose Multiplatform for building consistent UIs across Android and iOS.

- Contributions to open-source identity projects or working prototypes using OpenID4VCI or mdoc.

- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose React Native or other cross-platform UI layers.

- Experience presenting at developer events or writing blogs targeted at developers.

- Familiarity with RAG-based LLM integration or developer tooling built with AI.

- Willingness and ability to ramp up quickly on protocols like OpenID4VCI ISO/IEC 18013-5 and related standards.
