Job Summary

Provide legal advice to all functions of the organization to make business opportunities viable within a compliance framework in a timely manner as appointed by his/her direct manager. This involves legal matters related to vendor/customer contracts projects regulatory/municipal corporate etc. Identify risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them. Address directly low complexity matters and medium complexity matters with supervision of his/her manager.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong and close relationship with the different functions of the organization under the scope in order to ensure due and timely compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

  • Provide pragmatic legal advice on any branch of law to minimize legal risk while enabling the business effectively.

  • Review customer and supplier contracts in order to ensure that the contractual conditions are in the best interest of the company within the legal parameters and in coordination with the functions involved.

  • Support the Legal team in raising awareness of any risks related to changes in law affecting the business or any risk identified in the daily business.

  • Monitor analyze and share new regulation with affected functions.

  • Others required by his/her direct manager.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years as a corporate lawyer in companies (desirable on logistics/transport and multinational companies) or in top notch law firms.

  • Intermediate English level.

  • Ability to communicate fluidly.

  • Influential.

  • Organized and structured.

  • Proactive dynamic and result driven self starter.

  • Capacity for teamwork.

  • Superior analytical ability and attention to detail.

  • Problem solving approach and business oriented.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines yet providing quality advice.
