Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Method Engineer you will be responsible for developing optimizing and maintaining engine maintenance and component repair processes to ensure efficient and high-quality execution. You will collaborate closely with engineering maintenance supply chain quality and continuous improvement teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.

• Analyze and define manufacturing methods and workflows for maintenance and repair capabilities (new and existing).
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including work instructions process sheets parts and tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineering and supply chain teams to ensure effective methods are developed and implemented.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other CI methodologies.
• Support the introduction of new technologies equipment and automation into production.
• Conduct time studies capacity analysis and root cause investigations for production issues.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in PFMEA control plans and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support to maintenance teams and train operators on new processes.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical industrial aerospace engineering or related field; alternatively a certified AME with equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or methods engineering role preferably in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining assembly composites or sheet metal.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools.
• Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:

Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
