Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus to Qualified Medical Assistants!
Must be either a CMA CCMA RMA or EMT-Basic.
This is a full-time Float Pool position. Primary work is in Virginia Beach Norfolk & Chesapeake. Travel to other areas required based on staffing requests.
Standard Working Hours: Monday through Friday-810 or 12-hour shifts
Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.
Overview
Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluations and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- Active CMA CCMA RMA or NREMT-Basic (Required)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Experience
- 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
- Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
