Information Security Junior Consultant (GRC)

Our team is experiencing significant growth driven by demand from clients seeking assistance in managing increasingly complex cyber security risks. We believe that helping clients gain confidence in their digital future is essential for their growth. As a result our cyber security practice is one of the key growth priorities of our firm.

We are seeking Junior Consultants to join our Cyber Security team and support the continued demand-led growth.

The Role:

As part of the cyber security team you will assist clients in understanding their cyber risks and in defining planning and executing a strategy that enables the business to deliver its objectives securely. Your role will involve:

• Supporting client leadership teams to define their risk appetite and develop a target state for their cyber security capabilities.

• Assisting in designing operating and governance models to help clients establish sustainable cyber security practices.

• Collaborating with senior team members on projects and helping to respond to client needs while building your knowledge and experience in the field.

• You will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and colleagues and gain exposure to various industries while developing your skills as a trusted advisor in cyber security.
  

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems Cyber Security or a related discipline preferred.

• Any relevant certifications ( Comptia Security CISSP CISM CISA) are a plus but not required; a willingness to pursue them is desirable.
  

Experience Requirements:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in information security IT or a related field (internships or work experience in a corporate or consulting environment are valued).

• Basic understanding of cyber security principles risks frameworks and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST DORA NIS2).

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of cyber security.

• Proficiency in English both written and verbal.

• Good communication skills to help explain complex concepts in simple terms.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment managing multiple tasks.

• Familiarity with MS Office and tools like Excel Word and PowerPoint.
