Job Summary

Classification Title:	OPS Lab Technician
Classification Minimum Requirements:	High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Description:	Chen Zhaos laboratory ( is seeking a highly motivated full-time laboratory technician. The successful candidate will be conducting collaborative and independent projects on the structure determination of membrane proteins using cryo-EM. The candidate will receive personalized training and have the opportunity to develop hard skills in molecular cloning cell culture protein purification cryo-EM sample preparation and cryo-EM data processing. The candidate will also have the opportunity to build soft skills such as critical thinking scientific presentation and scientific writing. Candidates with a bachelors degree in chemistry biology or related fields are preferred. Successful candidates are expected to be self-motivated collaborative pay attention to details and have a strong work ethic.
Expected Salary:	$15/hour - $17/hour commensurate with education and experience
Required Qualifications:	High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:	The ideal candidate will hold a bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology or a related area and have demonstrated laboratory research experience.
