What you will do:
- Drive branch performance with emphasis on sales customer service and inventory management.
- Direct the activities of counter inside sales and warehouse associates.
- Analyze customer needs to ensure that branch products and services meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain account base by driving optimal customer service.
- Provide overall leadership to drive Company values and culture.
- Operate the branch within forecast to meet and exceed profitability goals.
- Encourage the use of digital tools across customer base.
- Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
What you will bring:
- Minimum of five years industry experience with product knowledge.
- Minimum of two years management experience.
- Strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills.
- Strong mathematics verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and present solutions to a customer.
- The ability to operate computers and relevant computer software.
- Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- The ability to sit stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
- The ability to lift push and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- The ability to bend stoop kneel reach and climbto perform various duties.
- The ability to operate appropriate powered industrial trucks safely. Training will be provided.
- This job is performed within an office retail and light industrial environment.
Salary Range: $80000 plus competitive bonus
Location: Hauppauge NY
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
