The Electronics Material Handling Specialist is responsible for the safe accurate and efficient handling storage and movement of electronic components and materials within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This role ensures that sensitive electronic parts are managed in compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and quality standards to support uninterrupted production and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Receiving & Inspection
- Receive and inspect incoming electronic components such as PCBs sensors drives and control modules.
- Verify part numbers quantities and quality against purchase orders and specifications.
ESD-Safe Handling & Storage
- Handle all electronic materials in accordance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
- Store components in ESD-safe bins cabinets and workstations to prevent damage.
- Maintain ESD-safe work environments in compliance with industry standards.
Inventory & Logistics Support
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Support just-in-time (JIT) delivery of materials to elevator assembly lines or service teams.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Production & Field Support
- Prepare and kit electronic components for elevator control panel assembly or modernization kits.
- Coordinate with production engineering and field service teams to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Assist in packaging and shipping of sensitive electronics for field installation or repair.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO OSHA and internal quality standards.
- Maintain documentation for traceability and regulatory audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or logistics preferred.
- 2 years of experience in electronics handling preferably in a manufacturing or elevator-related environment.
- Strong understanding of ESD safety practices and handling procedures.
- Familiarity with elevator control systems and components is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment safely.
Preferred Attributes:
- IPC/WHMA-A-610 or ESD certification.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing or Six Sigma environment.
- Strong attention to detail organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced safety-focused environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- IPC A-610 or ESD certification.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing or Six Sigma environment.
- Strong attention to detail organization and communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $50000-$55000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance and business or organizational needs.
