Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the industrial maintenance operations of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability safety and efficiency of all machinery systems and infrastructure within the plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise proven leadership ability and
a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Oversight:
Lead and manage all maintenance activities including preventive
predictive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment
performance and minimal downtime.
- Facility Operations & Optimization:
Oversee the smooth operation of facility systems by standardizing maintenance processes managing paint line conditions and driving facility enhancements.
- Budget & Inventory Management:
Manage maintenance budgets effectively by overseeing spare parts inventory sourcing strategies and cost control measures including strategies for managing obsolete parts.
- System Efficiency & Upgrades:
Improve facility performance through system upgrades replacements structural enhancements and modernization initiatives.
- Failure Analysis & Countermeasures:
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement long- term corrective actions to prevent recurrence and support quality assurance.
- Equipment & Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all major systems
including:
o Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs)
o Conveyors exhaust systems and bake ovens
o Electrical and utility infrastructure
o Central Water Systems (CWS)
o Lighting inspection equipment and delivery systems
- Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records for audits inspections and external compliance; handle document management for equipment tracking external vendors and regulatory reporting.
- Performance Monitoring:
Track and improve key metrics such as MTBF (Mean Time Between
Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair); establish and enforce
maintenance performance standards.
Post-Shutdown Operations:
Develop and implement standards for restarting equipment and
systems following scheduled shutdowns or power interruptions.
Specialized Equipment Management:
Grade and maintain specialized equipment such as injection molding
machines robotics coolers and conveyors including hydraulic oil
analysis and viscosity control.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Technology or a related field (preferred).
Must be bilingual in both Korean and English
- Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
o Demonstrated experience leading a technical team in a high-volume fast-paced industrial setting.
- Skills:
o Strong leadership and team development capabilities
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking
o Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
o Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
