We are currently seeking a Fabricator based at our Windsor CT location.
What Will You Do
- Set up and operation of fabricating machines such as shears brakes rollers saws seam welder plasma cutter and punch press.
- Verifies conformance of work pieces to specification using square ruler and measuring tape.
- Maintain a safe clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
- Standing for long periods of time
- Walking through the production floor
- 20/20 vision
Your Experience Should Be...
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years of experience preferable in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is a must
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read engineering documentation (drawings)
- Use a variety of hand tools
- Work independently and as part of a team
