Job Summary

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location:Orleans Massachusetts
Unit: Therapy
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 4x10s (MonThurs) or 5x8s (MonFri) No Weekends
Pay Rate: $2681 (Weekly Gross)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients develop individualized treatment plans and provide high-quality therapy to support functional recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate new patients establish measurable treatment goals and create appropriate care plans.
Perform diagnostic tests (muscle nerve joint and functional ability) to assess impairment and prognosis.
Implement and adjust treatment modalities based on patient progress.
Document patient care education and communication with caregivers accurately and thoroughly.
Provide instruction in therapeutic procedures to patients and families for continued care.
Assist in training new staff as requested by leadership.
Guide and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants Aides and affiliating students.
Maintain compliance with departmental policies safety standards infection control and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in professional development continuing education and in-service training.
Maintain accurate daily statistical records of patient activity and charges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapy license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Ability to serve as a clinical resource and contribute to program planning and supervision.
Strong communication organizational and patient care skills.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Certifications:

BLS (AHA)
