Our internships are unique in that you will work on a substantial project with one-on-one guidance from one of our many experts in the Animal Health research field. You will have the opportunity to network with other students with the same career interests as you in our program as well as get exposure to senior leaders in our company. And youll get paid while you learn! In your downtime learn how to network and ask our leaders about their experiences to gain greater perspective and learn how you can fit into our family.

What we offer:A summer internship located at our Pet Nutrition Center in Topeka Kansas. In this internship you will gain valuable real life experience by assisting Senior Scientists in the development testing and management of projects involving wearable sensors AI data analysis and animal behavior.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a Junior or a Senior seeking a degree in a computing related field with an interest in data science

• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA

• Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship needs

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $23.50 - $29.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
