Job Summary

KBR is seeking an expert in the Digital Fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning Cloud Computing and Data Analytics. The role will assist KBR in maturing and deploying our suite of Digital Accelerators both internally and externally to transform decision making in a Digital Environment. This role will assist KBR in developing and deploying innovative AI solutions and guiding customers across governments industries and geographies with AI enabled solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems optimize systems and create intelligent applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design build and deploy AI models and systems that drive business value.

Roles and Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for the following:

• Collaborate with software engineers data scientists and product managers to integrate AI solutions into scalable products.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI frameworks tools and technologies.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
• Optimize model performance and ensure robustness scalability and ethical use of AI.
• Document processes models and workflows for internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Artificial Intelligence Data Science Mathematics or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in AI/ML development including hands-on experience with model training evaluation and deployment.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-powered products or solutions
• Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn etc.).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms deep learning architectures and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data preprocessing feature engineering and model tuning.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. in AI Machine Learning or a closely related discipline is highly preferred.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and MLOps pipelines is a plus.
• Familiar with DoD Digital Engineering goals and expectations Experience or familiar working in product development based teams
• Experience or familiarity with web based API development
• Experience incorporating AI/ML in languages other than Python (C# Java MATLAB etc.)
