We are looking for a highly motivated goal-oriented and customer-focused Field Application Engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit that can help us achieve great success with new and existing customers. This is a role where you will combine your commercial drive with your passion for technology; one that will allow you to grow your own communication business development and technical skill-set inside an exciting scale-up environment.

a Field Application Engineer for South Korea you will have the opportunity to travel widely collaborate with our teams in Japan China and HQ and work closely with our Korean customers on exciting 3D machine vision projects. You will support customers in maximizing the benefits of Zivid 3D cameras guide them and troubleshoot robot-vision integration including hand-eye calibration between robotic arms and cameras. Solving customer problems winning projects and achieving successful deployments are the ultimate goals. You will be a critical member of the commercial team and represent the customers voice to help our Product team design the best products.

We are looking for someone with a strong passion for technology and automation who is comfortable in both leading and supporting customers through their projects. A technical background (preferably machine vision or robotics) experience and passion for working with customers and the ability to have impactful technical conversations with customers is necessary.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

or M. Sc. Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Robotics or equivalent
Preferably 2-3 years of experience with Machine Vision and/or Robotics. Newly graduated candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Solid understanding of linear algebra especially working with homogeneous transformation matrices (4x4) used in robotics and computer vision.
Demonstrable programming skills in C and/ and/or Python and/or ROS
Excellent communication skills structured and solution-oriented
A self-driven team player with a strong passion for technologyand the world of automation and robotics
Business level in English and Korean is a strict requirement.
