Could you be the full-time General Studies Engineer in Saint Ouen close to Paris were looking for
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in managing tender and project infrastructure interfaces as well as General Studies activities ensuring seamless integration of train mechanical architecture. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Train Architecture Managers and Train Level Managers) oversee the production of General Studies layouts and ensure consistency with train layout and physical architecture requirements and much more.
Youll specifically take care of space allocations and kinematic studies but also contribute to weight management and gauge validation.
Well look to you for:
Ensuring the production and consistency of General Studies with train layout and physical architecture requirements (RSL1c)
Producing space allocations at varying maturity levels to demonstrate feasibility and identify critical zones
Managing gauge and kinematic studies including bogie-related activities
Highlighting and mitigating risks associated with missing or uncertain inputs
Managing layouts for coupling pantographs and curve inscriptions
Driving weight allocations and associated key drivers during all development phases
Organising and leading Gauge and Kinematic design reviews

A degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to railway products
1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Operational proficiency in English for reading writing and technical meetings
