Job Description

Position Summary:

The role of the Senior Project Manager is to plan and finalize multiple projects for residential commercial and public land development projects according to project deadlines and within budget. Senior Project Manager will ensure work is complete accurate and in accordance with good engineering practice. Senior Project Manager shall have diverse experience with different types of land development projects and experience with business development and client growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals participate in proposal interviews and presentations.
  • Plans schedules conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work
  • Manages design team including staff from multiple locations and/or disciplines.
  • Responsible for coordinating multiple project completions within budget and on schedule
  • Responsible for initiating client billing handling scope changes and contract administration.
  • Reviews contracts and flags non-standard areas of concern for supervisor and/or Directors review and approval.
  • Can independently perform assignments.
  • Mentors other staff and assumes training responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships in order to obtain future work
  • Business Development to grow client base

Job Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 12 years of project management experience
  • PE License
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Proficient with other engineering software required in area of expertise
  • May require the ability to sit for long periods of time stand walk and manipulate (carry lift move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds
  • Ability to walk construction sites
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate technical equipment read technical information and to analyze complex data.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work- related errands or to attend meetings may be required
