Financial Analyst 2 role involves managing and analyzing budgets monitoring financial performance ensuring regulatory compliance and providing financial expertiseoperations.
Key duties include budget preparation and monitoring developing financial models performing data analysis preparing financial reports The role requires strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on collaborating with internal teams to achieve financial goals and maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management:Assist in preparing monitoring and reviewing budgets for multiple charter schools ensuring alignment with program goals and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Analysis:Analyze historical and current financial data to identify trends assess performance and develop financial projections and reports.
- Compliance and Monitoring:Review and verify financial data ensuring compliance with federal state and local laws codes and regulations.
- Forecasting and Modeling:Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for expenditures and revenues to support strategic planning.
- Reporting:Prepare and present financial reports and performance dashboards to school management and other stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Analytical Skills:Strong ability to collect analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify risks trends and opportunities.
- Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in financial software particularly Microsoft Excel for building financial models and analyzing data.
- Communication Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present findings provide recommendations and train others.
- Collaborative Approach:Ability to work effectively with school operators and leadership to drive financial decisions and improvements.
- Attention to Detail:Meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
