Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed an apprenticeship and hold a valid journeyman license or certification. This position involves performing a wide range of installation maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform skilled trade work including installation maintenance and repair of electrical/plumbing/carpentry/etc. systems.
Interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to plan job layouts and procedures.
Ensure all work complies with local state and federal codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
Troubleshoot system malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed.
Accurately complete daily job reports and documentation.

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Trade License or Certification.
High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
Completion of a registered apprenticeship program.
3 years of relevant experience in the trade.
Strong knowledge of applicable safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Ability to lift 50 lbs work in varying conditions and perform physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with commercial and residential projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
